The Copy Department provides copies of various types of the vast holdings of the Clerk of Court's Office. The department provides the storage area for the Original Notarial Books. Any books preceding 1946 are housed in the Archives Department. When Acts cannot be obtained from microfilm, it is sometimes necessary to call Archives to request that the Act be copied from the book.

Another function of this department is making copies from the microfilm tapes on the I.M.T.Printer. When a customer requests a copy, an order is filled out on the invoice book. The fee for copies is as follows: $0.50 per page when made from the I.M.T. Printers and $3.00 per page for Maps.

The Copy Department generates copies from large Conveyance books, Donation books, Judge's book, etc. These copies cannot be obtained from microfilm and must be copied from the volume.

The Copy Department also provides copies of maps. The staff also assists customers who request to view a map before it is copied.

Tax Assessment Rolls are located in the Public Service department for customer viewing. They are housed in green binders by Ward and Sections. These rolls supply the public with property descriptions and values.

Map Indices are also located in the Public Service department for customer viewing. The indices tell the original and bundle number, or the plan book and page number where a map can be found.
